Ayr Rugby Football Club

Preparations are well underway for the new season, with training in beautiful surroundings.

The men's senior squad has been training on the Auchincruive estate just outside Ayr for the past few weeks, with the country house, river and woods providing a bucolic background. Ayr Ladies joined them for a joint training session last week, but this Monday (24th July), they move to the Old Racecourse.

The Ladies' training sessions are usually held at Rozelle on Mondays at 6.30pm, and are open to any newcomers who wish to give women's rugby a try. Rugby is a great way of getting fit, making friends and having fun, and Ayr Ladies are a welcoming group of all ages and rugby experience.

Ayr Ladies have a pre-season friendly against Cartha QP at Dumbreck on Friday 18th August at 7.45pm.

The men will have two pre-season friendlies against GHA (at Millbrae, Saturday 12th August) and Stirling County (at Bridgehaugh, Saturday 19th August). Both kick-off times are yet to be confirmed but will be earlier than usual.
