Tom Thomson Funeral Details

After recently passing, Tom Thomson’s family have confirmed his funeral will be held on Friday 14thof June at 12 noon at Ayr Cemetery, followed by thanksgiving and remembrance at 1pm at St. Columba Church, Midton Road Ayr. Afternoon tea will then be at the Princess Royal Suite, Ayr Racecourse. The family have asked if those attending could wear their club ties or a splash of pink and black, in accordance with Tom’s love of rugby and the boys he coached.



New Job Opportunities 2019/20

 Ayr RFC are looking for a team manager to work with the club 1st XV next season. 

The voluntary post will start in July and run through to the end of April.

Fenwick Headlines 1XV Coaching Staff

Ayr RFC are delighted to announce that Stuart Fenwick, Head of Youth and Women's Rugby and current U18s coach, will be taking the reins of Ayr's 1XV next season. 



AGM date

The Ayr RFC AGM will be held at Millbrae on Monday 10th of June at 19.30.


The club would appreciate of all members could make an effort to attend, with plenty on the agenda. The meeting also serves as an opportunity to update all on Dam Park and the Super6.

Land O'Burns '19 Edition a Success

It was another action-packed weekend at Millbrae for the 2019 Land O'Burns Weekender which saw Ayr and Stirling County bag top prizes. The annual event fuses together live music, food stalls and Champions league football all around 280 tonnes of sand sculpted into a man-made beach for rugby.

Our men's 1st XV has nurtured the talents of five Scottish international players recently in Gordon Reid, Pat MacArthur, Mark Bennett, Finn Russell and Ali Price.  We have a close connection with Glasgow Warriors, with Al Kellock, James Eddie and Dougie Hall, to name but a few, having donned the pink and black shirt in the past few seasons, as well as our own players training with the Scotstoun side.
